You may want to rethink the hotdog stand the next time you’re at an A’s game. ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” has health department inspection reports posted for 107 sports venues and 34 percent of vendors at the Coliseum show violations.
HP Pavilion came in at 20 percent, Oracle 19, Candlestick Park 13, and—best of show—AT&T Park, 4.
At Oracle, the report mentions some potato salad that was brought out of the fridge and resold after being left out at unsafe temperature. Says East Bay Express editor Stephen Buel (to whom a hat tip is conferred): “Memo to self: time to switch to garlic fries.”
