‘Botox mom’ a phony; story a hoax

Looks like the “Botox mom” is a liar but maybe not a child abuser. TMZ says it has obtained a declaration in which the woman who used the phony name Kerry Campbell says she made up the yarn about giving her 8-year-old daughter Botox for a British tabloid that paid her $200 to concoct the story. ABC’s “Good Morning America” and the tabloid show “Inside Edition” paid her thousands of dollars to appear on camera, she says.

Add hoax: And a lot of mainstream media outlets took the bait.
