Gary Klein at the Marin IJ says “an autopsy on the old Ross schoolhouse revealed the cause of death as chronic procedural defects with underlying sclerosis of the Brown Act.”
Add: He’s talking about a Town Hall meeting last night to get to the bottom of how the century-old landmark at Ross Common was demolished without public input. It happened in 2007, no less. But apparently few people noticed until lately, because the historic one-room school was hidden behind portable buildings put up during renovation of nearby Ross School.
