That’s where the San Francisco Symphony performed tonight on its European tour. And Wednesday, symphony director Michael Tilson Thomas posted this YouTube video from an outdoor cafe toasting Gustav Mahler (with a Coke, no less) on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Mahler’s death.
Add: Should he ever need a career change, Tilson Thomas could make it in local TV as a VJ. The man does know how to engage the camera.
