As late as Monday, the household staffer with whom Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child more than a decade ago told the L. A. Times, which was about to break the story, that the child was not his. And then the former governor issued his statement.
Add Schwarzenegger: The LAT says that Arnold disclosed his paternity of the child to wife Maria Shriver in January, shortly before she moved out of the couple’s mansion in L. A.’s Brentwood district and into a Beverly Hills hotel. It was about the same time that the staffer completed her 20 years of employment with the family and retired.
