Although the L. A. Times, which broke the story, has refrained from identifying the woman at the center of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child scandal, TMZ and Radar Online are not. They’ve posted names and photos on the web. They say she’s Mildred “Patty” Baena, the Schwarzenegger family’s former housekeeper and assistant. She’s said to live in a 4 bedroom house with a pool, several hours outside of Los Angeles with the boy, who’s 13, and her 3 other kids.
Add Schwarzenegger: The next few weeks are sure to be rocky, but the L. A. Times’ quick take from political strategists is that the scandal probably won’t derail the ex-governor’s political and show business pursuits much in the long haul.
Add early ridicule: LAT columnist Steve Lopez landed punches today after some pretty good ones yesterday. An excerpt:

I would have thought it would be hard for Mr. Universe to top his 2003 confession that he was a serial groper. Now I’m wondering if there’s anything else we should know. Any more love children out there? Has anybody checked with maids and nannies in the Brentwood neighborhood where Schwarzenegger lives?
Look, we always knew it was about ego with Schwarzenegger. Biggest biceps. Biggest box office. Biggest recall.
