For years the solution to getting rid of the nuclear waste from the Diablo Canyon Power Plant was to ship it to Yucca Mountain in Nevada. But the Obama administration canceled those plans. Now, it isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future, and that’s got politicians and local residents alike upset, the San Luis Obispo Tribune says.
