The Oracle CEO and America’s Cup poobah says that, media reports to the contrary, he isn’t trying to buy the house next door to one he already owns in Pacific Heights. Here’s his
statement, via Reuters.
Curbed SF first reported that Larry Ellison was paying $40 million for a mansion once owned by the late socialite Dodie Rosecrans with unobstructed views of the bay.
Context: Ellison has been haggling with a downslope neighbor couple over trees that he says obstruct his bay view, but his lawsuit, which was scheduled to be heard June 6, reportedly has been settled.
Add: Curbed SF’s Phillip Ferrato
posts a peel-back, but seems to think there’s more to it than meets the eye: “Curious!”
