Fire chief’s $11,200 tab at Harvard

imageContra Costa fire chief Daryl Louder’s contract covers tuition and books for any work-related educational program of his choice. Still, the Contra Costa Times’ Lisa Vorderbrueggen says it came as a surprise to county supervisors that their chief was at Harvard for a three-week “Senior Executives in State and Local Government” program offered at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. The price tag: $11,200.
