For USF, Saint Mary’s, more ESPN facetime

That new ESPN contract with the West Coast Conference is going to mean a lot more national exposure for Bay Area members USF, Saint Mary’s and Santa Clara. Jon Wilner at the Mercury News says the WCC’s eight-year deal with ESPN announced yesterday guarantees a minimum of 48 network TV appearances for conference schools starting this year, when Brigham Young joins the conference in basketball.
