Saturday, June 11, 2011

imageSomeone dropped off a blood-stained Dodgers jersey at a Los Angeles cleaners and DNA testing reveals the blood to be a match for critically-injured beating victim Bryan Stow, NBC’s Los Angeles affiliate is reporting.

Add: NBCLA quotes an anonymous source as saying that the person believed to have taken the bloody jersey to the cleaners was Giovanni Ramirez, the suspect who has not been charged with the assault on Stow but is being held on a parole violation. Witnesses have told police that one of Stow’s two attackers as well as the woman who drove the getaway car from the Dodger Stadium parking lot were wearing Dodger jerseys.

[+] The LA Times, in a story to publish Sunday, is now quoting unnamed LAPD sources as refuting the TV station's report, saying the DNA doesn't match Stow or Ramirez.
