That’s quite a yarn media blogger Rich Lieberman unwinds today about being propositioned by a TV “hottie” looking for a little career help over drinks at a Fisherman’s Wharf hotel bar. It reads like a Garrison Keillor “Guy Noir” detective bit:
She wanted to go places. It was obvious.
I had a mysterious e-mail, followed up by a cheesy, yet romantic, phone call. The whereabouts of the call wasn't clear, but the voice on the other end of the line was a no-doubter: sounded like a hottie, and she was.
She wouldn't tell me much other than the fact that she was on the air here locally and wanted to make an impression. "Impression?" Like what, goddess? Be more specific.
Noted: That’s for starters. Lieberman doesn’t offer names, and commenters are already having fun with him. Says one: “And then you woke up.”
