The Warriors take the 6-foot-7 Washington State shooting guard with the No. 11 pick in the NBA draft. The son of former NBA player Mychal Thompson averaged 22.1 points per game his junior year, his last at WSU. Barring any trades, he’s likely to challenge Reggie Williams for playing time as the Warriors’ third guard behind Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry.
