Now that Gavin Newsom’s Pacific Heights home (pictured) is in escrow and since he’s already moved to Marin County, former supervisor Aaron Peskin thinks it’s time for the Lite Guv to quit claiming duel citizenship as a San Franciscan. He tells SF Weekly’s Erin Sherbert:
"It's fine for the lieutenant governor to live anywhere in the state of California. But now that he's sold his house and lives in Marin, then it's abundantly clear that he is no longer a resident of San Francisco."
Add: More to the point, Peskin says Newsom shouldn’t bother to try being seated at San Francisco’s next Democratic County Central Committee meeting July 27.
