After food poisoning, he wins San Francisco Marathon

Michael Wardian, 37, an elite runner from Arlington, Virginia, overcame pre-race food poisoning to win today’s San Francisco Marathon. His time: 2 hours, 27 minutes and 6 seconds, more than 7 minutes ahead of the second place finisher, the Chronicle says. Just don’t ask him what he was doing all night before the race.
