For food critic Michael Bauer—food poisoning

Go figure. Chronicle food critic Michael Bauer wrote yesterday about a state Senate bill dealing with safe food handling. Today he blogs (very briefly) at Inside Scoop SF that he’s flat on his back with food poisoning:

I’ve only had food poisoning one other time that I remember, and I was down for three days. Since I dine out every night, that’s not a bad record.

He adds: “I’m not sure where to point fingers, so I won’t.”
