The cat’s been out of the bag for a couple of weeks now but Arianna Huffington blogs the official debut of HuffPost San Francisco. The lede story (at this writing) features a big torso shot of Gavin Newsom with the bold headline, “Why Did He Flee?” Don’t worry, HuffPost doesn’t know either. It’s just a rehash of what’s been said about Newsom’s move to Marin for days. No, make that weeks.
Add: Down the column side, once you get past Mayor Ed Lee, today’s lineup looks like a who’s who of City Hall wannabes and has-beens. There’s Joanna Rees, Michela Alioto-Pier, Chris Daly, and for good measure, sitting supervisor Mahlia Cohen. Oh, and from the SFGate City Brights menagerie (it will be interesting to see whether the Chronicle allows double dipping), there’s the ubiquitous Craig Newmark.
