Ah, the lure of San Joaquin County, home to Manteca, Stockton and beyond. Democratic Rep. Jerry McNerney loves it so much he’s decided to move there from Pleasanton. “After spending so much time in San Joaquin County, it truly is my home,” he’s quoted by the Chronicle’s Joe Garofoli. Oh, did we mention that new political maps about to be released place his current home outside his district?
Add: Real estate brokers might want to jump on it. Garofoli says McNerney doesn’t actually have a home yet in his future home-sweet-home.
