Vargas, Bronstein to pair up at Commonwealth Club

One-time Chronicle intern and recently revealed illegal immigrant Pulitzer Prize winner Jose Antonio Vargas will be the guest Monday at the Commonwealth Club. The ex-Washington Post reporter will sit for an interview with Chronicle editor-at-large Phil Bronstein. Bronstein wrote a couple of weeks ago about being duped by Vargas when hiring him at the Chron in the early 2000s. His column is here; the Commonwealth Club press release here.
