Is Condi Rice memoir coming late to market?

Condoleezza Rice’s memoir of her life in politics, “No Higher Honor,” is to hit store shelves in November. Which is curious timing, considering that the news release from publisher Crown hypes the Stanford prof’s role in connection with the response to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Asks the LA Times Jacket Copy blog:

But does publishing the book more than a month after the anniversary indicate that the stories Rice has to tell about her time in Washington won't be revelatory?
