Another horrifying death at Yosemite. This time it’s an unidentified man who plunged from the sheer face of Half Dome. Park officials say the death likely occurred about 6:30 last night. The Sacramento Bee reports that rangers recovered the body this afternoon after a helicopter pilot spotted it at the base of the monolith. It’s fatality No. 15 inside the park this year.[+] It was just 15 days ago that Haley LaFlamme, 26, of San Ramon plunged to her death while descending Half Dome.
