The GOP presidential candidate’s plans to demolish his $12 million oceanfront home in La Jolla and build an 11,000 square foot manse in its place has some within Republican circles concerned that he “lacks connection to ordinary voters,” the Wall Street Journal says:
“A campaign aide said Mr. Romney needs the extra space to accommodate his five married sons and 16 grandchildren.”
