Only six of 13 Bay Area (or near Bay Area) members of Congress voted yes on yesterday’s debt ceiling compromise—and one of them, Dan Lungren from Sacramento County, is a Republican. The breakdown is at the end of Carolyn Lochhead’s Chronicle piece that dwells on how big a role Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi played in selling a compromise that, as the story says, has Bay Area Democrats enraged at President Obama.
