BofA says it hasn’t been hacked. However . . .

imageBank of America is saying it hasn’t been hacked, despite widespread disruptions of its online banking service a day after it announced it would start charging a $5 monthly fee for debit card use. AP quotes a BofA spokesperson as saying the site had been fully restored after problems between 12 noon and 2:30 p.m. PDT. Not so. The site remained down for an undetermined number of customers as of this writing, at 3 p.m.
