Bryan Stow speaks, asks to see his children

imageThe severely injured Giants fan, who's had an up and down recovery since being brutally beaten at Dodger Stadium on opening night of baseball season, is shown pictures of his two kids and utters the words, “I want to see them.” A family website devoted to his recovery also says he was able to recite answers to questions asked by a speech therapist, including his birthday and the children’s names. An excerpt:
We are blown away with all of this. Literally one day we got some facial responses and the next, he’s talking. His voice is gravelly and you have to be close to hear him, but he is talking.
