The Alameda County coroner’s office has confirmed that the body found in Niles Canyon near the Pleasanton-Sunol border over the weekend is that of murdered 26-year-old nursing student Michelle Le. Bay City News Service cites Hayward police as saying tonight that although the body has been identified, forensics examinations are ongoing to try and determine how Le was killed.
Add: Le’s one-time friend, Giselle Esteban, 27, is charged with the murder and is to return to court Sept. 28 when she will possibly enter a plea.
