Dianne Feinstein: 41% in poll and still no challenger

Is Dianne Feinstein’s solid image as the popular politician showing cracks? A new Field Poll gives her only a 41 percent approval rating a little more than a year from the 2012 election. In her favor: She has no opponent. But that may change. Republicans are caucusing in Los Angeles today to consider possible challengers. Among names being mentioned, the Chronicle says, is conservative radio talker Michael Reagan, the late President’s progeny.
