Two from Bay Area chosen as MacArthur Fellows

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

imageOf this year’s 22 so-called genius award winners, announced today by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, two are from the Bay Area. They are longtime College of Marin remedial English instructor and former Poet Laureate of the United States Kay Ryan and UCSF neurologist William Seeley.
