There were no autograph seekers, no fans and no media at Al Davis’ private funeral at Temple Beth Abraham in Oakland this morning, writes former BANG sports columnist turned regular reporter Gary Peterson. Then came the black Lincoln Towncar, carrying John Madden and his wife.
