If this were football, we’d be talking blowout. Three weeks before the election, Mayor Ed Lee is the first choice of 31 percent of respondents in a Bay Citizen-USF poll, with a cluster of others in the far rear view mirror. They’re City Attorney Dennis Herrera, 8.1%; John Avalos, who has the endorsement of San Francisco’s Democratic Party, 7.4%, and state Sen. Leland Yee, once considered a leading contender, just 6.5%.
Noted: More than 1 in 5 voters remain undecided.
