BART protesters say they’ll ‘occupy’ downtown Oakland stations

Tuesday, November 1, 2011

imageNow the group known as No Justice No BART is calling for an occupation of Oakland’s 12th Street and 19th Street BART stations Wednesday from 7 to 9 a.m. to coincide with the general strike called by Occupy Oakland protesters. The Chronicle is quoting the group as saying: "The BART transit agency should not escape our scrutiny, as they are a paramount example of the corruption that is rampant in our public sector.”

Noted: If it happens, one would think plenty of Occupy Oakland protesters would be among the morning commuters bummed.
