Tony La Russa not likely to put his feet up in East Bay

Tuesday, November 1, 2011

Tony La Russa’s abrupt retirement after his St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series has folks imagewondering about his next move. He could just kick back in Blackhawk, the gated community near Danville where he lives. Maybe look in on his Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek.
