Arlene Ackerman scores another big payday

Remember former San Francisco schools superintendent Arlene Ackerman, who was paid $375,000 to go away a few years back and then briefly sued, claiming she was owed $172,000 more? She’s just been sent packing as Philadelphia’s schools superintendent, this time collecting $905,000, CBS Philly says. But wait, there’s more: She’s also filed an unemployment claim, trying to collect $573 a week.
