One less vacant home—atop the St. Regis

imageThe never-lived-in two-story penthouse atop the St. Regis (floors 39 and 40) that the Wall Street Journal last summer described as the most expensive bank-owned residential listing in the United States just sold for $35 million, half the original asking price.  No word on the buyer.
