The Contra Costa Times editorial page takes a dim view of Assemblywoman Mary Hayashi’s pleading no contest to a reduced charge of misdemeanor grand theft after her infamous trip to Neiman Marcus. Noted: If the Castro Valley Democrat soldiers on, you can bet prospective voters will get plenty more chances to view her SFPD mug shot (above).
