  • Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi makes another court appearance today to have a trial date set on domestic violence charges, and calls are starting to be heard for him to step aside. Chronicle

  • The U. S. Supreme Court ruled this morning that law enforcement must get a search warrant before tracking suspects with GPS devices. Mercury News 
  • After 1 to 2 feet of snow at Lake Tahoe resorts since Thursday, another storm was expected to dump from 15 to 30 more inches by this afternoon. AP
  • Assistant San Francisco DA Sanaz Nikaein, 34, was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of domestic violence. She was released after making bail. Chronicle
