Strange media news item of the day, via Poynter:

“MSNBC President Phil Griffin just confirmed that [Pat] Buchanan is suspended indefinitely because some of his ideas aren’t ‘appropriate for national dialogue on MSNBC.’ “

Noted: Since when has that mattered in cable news?
