Pelosi to Hollywood donors: ‘House is winnable’

Tuesday, January 31, 2012

imageNancy Pelosi is campaigning hard for Democrats to regain the House (which would make her Speaker again) and she was pitching last night at the Beverly Hills home of media mogul Haim Saban. The Hollywood Reporter says more than 50 of L. A.’s most influential political fundraisers were on hand to listen to Pelosi, pollster Stan Greenberg and Democratic congressional campaign guru Steve Israel. An excerpt:

They told the crowd that the Democrats have "a real chance" to take back 25 seats.

"They identified between 50 and 75 seats that are definitely vulnerable," the attendee said. "They went through each of the races. It was truly one of the more focused presentations that I've seen."
