Remember Kevin Hart, the kid who four years ago staged a phony news conference in the packed gym at his high school in Fernley, Nevada, to say he’d committed to play football at Cal—even though Cal never recruited him? (That’s a photo of him at the big event in 2008.) To live down the humiliation Hart went into hiding, of sorts. He’s been going to school at Feather River College in Quincy, Calif., and this season was named to a California junior college all-star team, ESPN says.
Add: Tomorrow—national signing day in the world of college football—he’s set to accept a scholarship from Division II Missouri Western. For real, apparently.
