Rare duck: Asian immigrant or zoo escapee?

imageAn almost never-seen-in-North America falcated duck, native to Asia, has turned up at a wildlife refuge 70 miles north of Sacramento. Birders, understandably, are flocking there. The big mystery, the Sac Bee says, is whether the bird wandered across the Pacific or escaped from a private collection or zoo.
