The competition for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory’s second campus is over and the winner is: Richmond. Nearly two dozen sites within close commuting distance to UC had competed for the campus, but in the end the university went with its bayfront Richmond Field Station property. The Berkeley Lab website announced the choice this morning.
