49ers exit from San Francisco could move up to 2014

Looks like the 49ers could be gone from San Francisco in 2014, a year earlier than expected. Santa Clara’s city council last night approved plans for the new 68,500-seat 49ers stadium there that calls for construction to start in July, roughly six months earlier than anticipated. The goal: to have it ready for the 2014 pre-season.
