Apparently some folks on The Farm aren’t ecstatic about this year’s choice of commencement speaker: Cory Booker, the mayor of Newark, N. J. Mexican president Felipe Calderon spoke last year, Oprah Winfrey in ‘08, Steve Jobs in ‘05. You get the idea. He has a variety of distinguished accomplishments–he played football for Stanford, won a Rhodes scholarship, attended Yale Law School, and is now serving a second term in a very challenging job as mayor of Newark.
