Jesusa Tatad, 36, has been in custody since November, when prosecutors say she poured a pot of boiling water over her sleeping ex-husband—whom she reportedly believed had been unfaithful—and then beat him with a baseball bat at their Daly City home. Ronie Tatad died two weeks later at San Francisco General Hospital. She entered not guilty pleas to murder and torture yesterday, the Daily Journal says.
