Dog chases mountain lion into backyard tree

What happens when a dog chases a mountain lion into a tree? In a Los Altos Hills backyard this morning, the lion hung around for awhile, and then slinked down the tree and into nearby open space, as this NBC Bay Area video shows. It’s presumed that the dog, a German shepherd, didn’t know what he was chasing.
