Lawmaker passes along Onion satire as news

Rep. John Fleming, Republican of Louisiana, probably thought tossing out some red meat over an abortion item he saw at The Onion would score constituent points. The first commenter calls him on it: “The Onion is satire. How exactly did you get elected?” His Facebook post has since been deleted. But not before Literallyunbelievable.org made the grab.
