Snow and rain closed the Grapevine in Southern California today, although it reopened early this evening, leaving a long line of tail lights. The National Weather Service says 6 to 12 inches of snow could fall at elevations above 5,000 feet tonight in SoCal. For the Bay Area, it looks like rain by Wednesday.
