Paper airplane takes flight—for world record

Wednesday, February 29, 2012

That’s former Cal quarterback Joe Ayoob setting a world record Sunday by throwing a paper airplane 226 feet inside a hangar at McClellan Air Force Base near Sacramento. The fellow in the blue shirt who’s sharing the jubilation is KRON 4 producer John Collins, who folded it.

Add: The Marin IJ says the Guinness people haven’t officially verified Ayoob’s feat yet, but that sounds like a technicality.
