Roland Martin draws CNN suspension for ‘anti-gay’ tweet

CNN politics talker Roland Martin will “not be on air for the time being” after some tweets during the Super Bowl that critics say were anti-gay, AP says. The one that caught the ire of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation was his crack about an ad featuring soccer star David Beckham in underwear: “If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him.”
