Walnut Creek: ‘Come for the beer, stay for the brawl’

That’s CoCo Times columnist Tom Barnidge’s tongue-in-cheek tourism slogan suggestion now that booze-fueled late-night bar fights have become the norm in Walnut Creek’s once-somnolent entertainment district. Nine people were arrested over the weekend and a man was severely beaten in a parking garage.
